Don’t quote me in a few weeks when whatever happens. At least it is now, after the first week of its official release. If you want it, go to the store, it’s there. We really need to appreciate how well distributed and easy to get Runabout is. ![]() Sad that people feel nothing but anger anymore.Ībsolutely. Thrust gets delayed a few days ahead of time, and people complain it got delayed because they didnt get any. Had Target updated this estimate a few weeks ago and gotten them in on time, people would complain they weren't expecting to get charged. This is clearly them getting an ETA from the supplier that wasnt met. If I order something on ebay from japan and it takes longer than the estimated day, its the sellers fault? No. That is unable to be accounted for by either the supplier, or Target. This likely is due to the unexpected port delays. You seriously have to look no farther than the OTHER figure released as a Target exclusive TODAY to see if they had inventory, they'd have sent it to the pre-orders and stores. People would rather whine at retailers when things go wrong than be happy when things go smoothly… Like Runabout. Them not receiving stock from Hasbro is Target's fault? We are still in a pandemic and there is a labor issue at the ports in CA right now. While I can't say for sure, id imagine the solid case orders target placed were unable to be fulfilled and due to them using the assortment sku in stores, they cannot offload those orders to be fulfilled at a store unless they were fine with ANY leader being shipped. Runabout and Thrust are an exception though, being that they are solid cases of the one figure no matter what, store or website inventory. They are ordered differently, shipped differently, arrive differently. Store inventory is the assortments we all know and have had since the 80's. Thats why individual preorders were not a thing until recently, as solid cases were a thing Hasbro only started doing within the last few years. Website inventory is solid cases of the one figure. Inventory meant for stores is different than website inventory. Why is stock going to stores while preorders are being cancelled? Meanwhile, people are having Blitzwing, Skipjack, and the Judge cancelled despite all of them appearing in stores. Hey, so I (and many others) had our Overload preorders cancelled even as stock was popping up in stores.
